In 1994 through to 1997 I worked as wildlife veterinary nurse in a rehabilitation centre in Durban. During their annual game capture program in the Umfolozi game reserve, the then Natal Parks Board carefully selected certain black and white rhino there, darted them from a helicopter and then auctioned them off to various zoos and private game parks scattered around the world.
